Yes. We are an approved contractor for Peoples Gas and Northern Gas. We handle gas leak detection, gas line repairs, gas line installation, and fuel conversions. Gas work requires licensed professionals, and that is exactly what we are.
If you smell gas, leave your home immediately. Do not turn on or off any electrical switches, and do not use your phone inside the house. Once you are safely outside, call 911 first, then call the gas company, then call us. Gas leaks are extremely dangerous and require immediate professional attention.
Keep your thermostat set to at least 55 degrees, even when you are away. Open cabinet doors under sinks on exterior walls to let warm air circulate. Let faucets drip slightly during extreme cold snaps. Insulate exposed pipes in basements, crawl spaces, and attics. If your pipes do freeze, call us immediately. Do not try to thaw them yourself with open flames.
Yes. Regular maintenance is the best way to prevent breakdowns and extend the life of your equipment. We recommend annual furnace tune-ups before winter and annual AC tune-ups before summer. These checkups catch small problems before they become expensive repairs.
